Directions to the Hostel

DISTANCE: Airport (25km); Bus Station (300m); Train Station (300m); Ferry (300m)

FROM THE AIRPORT: The easiest way to get here is to take the airport shuttle which will take you directly to the main bus station.

FROM THE MAIN BUS STATION (same location as the Ferry Port and the Train Station): Once you arrive by bus, ferry, or train walk north up the road towards the Palace (make sure the water is on your left side) until you reach the intersection at the very beginning of the promenade. Turn right (Hrvojeva Street), you will see a lot of souvenir stalls/market on the street. Walk through the markets alongside the Palace wall until you see a big stone archway gate to your left – Silver Gate. Go though and continue past Peristil Square with St. Duje Cathedral (big bell tower) and for another 60 meters until you reach the another big archway straight ahead with a sun dial leading into a wide, open square (Narodni Trg – also known as the Pjaca). Once you enter the square, walk straight and you'll see a shoe store at the end on the right (called 'MASS'). There is a small red newspaper/convenience stand (called 'TISAK'). WE ARE LOCATED DIRECTLY BEHIND THIS STAND IN A HIDDEN ALLEY WAY.

**Please be aware we can be a little tricky to find, as the palace is UNESCO heritage listed and no signs are allowed to be put up to mark this alley. Please make sure to follow these directions and look at our map! Once you find this newspaper stand and enter the alley behind it you can't miss us, you'll see the Split Hostel sign straight ahead on our entrance gate.**
